Aug 6, 2023 Das Awkscht Fescht
Get the chickens and cows in the barn now once, outten the lights, and spiff up your machine to head to Macungie for the 60th Das Awkscht Fescht. The LVCC is scheduled to help the AACA on August 6th by volunteering to park the Chevrolet Class. The show typically brings around 1000 cars or more on Sunday, and about 90 of them are in our Chevrolet class. Year after year, as the 50’s and earlier cars decrease, the Camaros have been increasing, and are now a solid 1/2 of the class – if not more.
At Noon, members will move to Buckeye Road, for a club picnic, before returning to the park to check out all the other cool rides. The Craig Thatcher Band will play in the Grandstand from 1:45 to 3:45. Members without rolling Camaros can park at Karl’s house, and walk to the park.
Remember that this event is pre-registered only – no day of show cars…..and cars must be 25 years old, (registered as 1998 or older). Send in your registration form by July 1st.
