Unfortunately, we find it unwise to hold a Christmas Party this year.Well 2020 just won’t settle down, will it? We talked about the Christmas Party while on the Fall Foliage Run, and couldn’t come up with good reasons to take the risks of holding it, but agreed to look at it one more time. Although a few establishments are willing to give us a room; the spacing of tables and the limited number of people who could go, seem to make a less than ideal situation for a party. After all, if we can’t socialize and play games, what is the point? Since that discussion, the COVID-19 rate has skyrocketed, making the risks of passing the virus even more of a concern; so I think the obvious answer is to forgo the party this year. Hopefully we can have a gathering of some sort in February or March, if things calm back down. If anyone has any ideas on a place to meet or a location to tour in the February or March time period, please let me know. We wish all our Lehigh Valley Camaro Friends a Happy and Joyous Thanksgiving and Christmas Season! Karl & Barb Scheffy |
